recent reads
I have read a lot of books lately here are some of the best:
Commencement- J. Courtney Sullivan.
I could not put this book down. It’s about 4 best friends who meet in college and talks about their lives during college and for the 4 years after switching back and forth between each of their point of views.
Citizen Girl- Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus
I didn’t love the way this book was written but I thought it was a good story and somewhat relate able for recent graduates.
An Object of Beauty- Steve Martin
This book was well written and entertaining. It’s about a woman who works for art dealers in NY. It spoke a lot about the art world which I know nothing about so it was pretty informative as well.
Unbearable Lightness- Portia de Rossi
This is one of the saddest books I’ve ever read. It’s about Portia de Rossi and the eating disorder that took over her life when she was in her early twenties.
If You Were Here- Jen Lancaster
I’ve read (and liked) most of Jen Lancaster’s books which memoirs about her life. Although this book is her first novel you can tell the characters are based off of her and her husband. It is about them buying and remodeling their first house. This book was entertaining and kept my attention.
I have also read Pretty Little Liars 1-9 but will not bore you with those :)
